M3: Music, Munchies, Market
New Haven's Music, Market, and Munchies (M3) Concert Series is a great family-friendly summer and fall event that features produce, baked goods, food trucks, adult beverages, and most importantly, live music! Summer Fest
Summer Fest is New Haven's three-day Independence Day festival that takes place in the heart of downtown New Haven at Schnelker Park. For the 2025 season, the festival begins Thursday, June 26th, and features an all-ages car cruise-in as well as live music, craft food vendors, and an artisan market where visitors can find handmade goods. The fun continues on Friday, June 28th, with live music from Fort Wayne Funk Orchestra accompanied by more craft food vendors and market goods for people to enjoy. Saturday, June 28th, will be going out with a bang for a fun-filled, family-oriented day; we will be hosting our annual Summer Fest Parade and have activities including fair games, bounce houses, a photo booth, craft vendors, competitions, live entertainment, food vendors, and so much more. Holiday Homecoming
New Haven's annual Holiday Homecoming event is our kick-off to the holiday season! The day after Thanksgiving, we encourage New Haven residents and visitors to join us on downtown New Haven's Broadway Street to enjoy a Christmas parade, carriage rides, the lighting of a Christmas Tree, and most importantly, a visit from Santa and his reindeer! Under the heated tent, there will be live holiday music accompanied by the Holiday Hoopsters, who will perform their special holiday dance routine. Several downtown businesses also come out to celebrate the holiday festivities and provide cookies, hot chocolate, hot dogs, and so much more for the community to enjoy. Sample New Haven
Once a year, the New Haven Chamber of Commerce along with participating local restaurant vendors host a sampling event in downtown New Haven, providing the community with a taste of New Haven's best dishes and drinks! For a small buy in, guests are encouraged to try samples from all participating local restaurants and then vote for who they determine should be the People's Choice restaurant for the year. Visit New Haven's Historic Broadway Street
Take a day to explore the heart of New Haven, it's Historic Broadway Street! New Haven's Historic Broadway provides visitors with a variety of places to visit, from hunting for new treasures at The Edge, to shopping for furniture at Ruhl Furniture and Flooring, there is something for everyone. Start your adventure at Common Grounds Coffee House for cup of coffee, then make your way around downtown to explore the shops of Broadway.

Whispering Creek Golf Club
Enjoy a morning or spend the day golfing at Whispering Creek Golf Club, an 18-hole, par 72 golf course located on roughly 140 acres of land along the Maumee River! Whispering Creek offers a "Stay and Play" program, where visitors are provided with the opportunity to have workers establish all of your tee times as well as handle making hotel reservations for a hassle-free visit to New Haven. Bell's Skating Rink
Bell's Skating Rink offers fun for all ages with an indoor roller rink, concessions, and great music! Whether you're solo skating or stopping in for a family fun day, Bell's Skating Rink is a destination to practice your moves in the skating rink. Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society
With a mission to preserve, restore, and operate historic railroad equipment and artifacts that are significant to Northeast Indiana, the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society is an award-winning 501(c)3 non-profit corporation founded in 1972. The Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society holds regular work sessions, open houses, and events at it's restoration facility that is located East of New Haven, with tours available by appointment. Wabash Railroad Depot
New Haven's Railroad Depot has been restored to look much like it did when it first opened in 1887. The facility, located at 546 State Street (across from Moser Park) has been brought back from near collapse by the New Haven Area Heritage Association, where it was later donated to New Haven's Parks and Recreation's Department in 2018. The facility occasionally holds programs at the location over the summer, so be sure to be on the lookout for any events!
Canal Landing
This quaint, pocket park provides New Haven visitors with a tranquil oasis where they can observe some of New Haven's most prominent history. Our tribute to New Haven's rich river and rail-based history entails a historic plaque that details the significance of the location, accompanied by a gazebo, scenic flowers, and park benches that welcome visitors into a relaxing corner of New Haven's Historic Broadway Street.

Rivergreenway Trail
The Rivergreenway Trail is a 26-mile National Recreational Trail that provides connectivity across Allen County. The trail runs along the banks of the St. Mary, St. Joseph, and Maumee Rivers, providing occupants with a scenic overlook of the synergism between country and urban settings. New Haven is home to 3 miles of the 26-mile recreational trail, which begins at Moser Park, and ends at the boat launch that is located near the entrance of the Fort Wayne Trail at North River Road. Jury Pool and Park
Home to New Haven's only public pool, Jury Park is a New Haven hotspot during the summer. With an extensive renovation to the park, the space has recently been updated with resurfaced tennis courts, an updated pavilion, and a popular pool facility that includes a splash pad, diving board, slides, a tipping bucket, and lap lanes. Forgot any important gear? Don't worry; Jury Pool sells a limited amount of pool gear at their concessions. New Haven Community Center Park
New Haven's Community Center Park provides a multi-functional outdoor plaza, inclusive playground, seasonally accessible splash pad, pickleball and basketball courts, trail connections, and restrooms-- all free of access to visitors. This family-friendly destination is sure to provide something for all ages to enjoy! Havenhurst Park
This spacious 29-acre park lies adjacent to the privately owned and operated Whispering Creek Gold Course. Havenhurst Park offers wide, open spaces for traditional outdoor spaces including baseball, basketball, football, softball, and tennis. Moser Park
Moser Park is the ideal scenic park, including features like a pavilion, pond, basketball court, baseball diamonds, and scenic nature trails. This park is one of the many nature centers located off of Fort Wayne and New Haven's 26-mile Rivergreenway Trail. For a map of the park, follow the link here.
Schnelker Park
Nestled in the heart of Downtown New Haven, Schnelker Park is downtown's peaceful hidden gem. The park's large trees create a calm, shaded area for visitors to relax, play, or even spend the day enjoying one of our annual events, Summer Fest and M3. Deetz Nature Preserve
Located at the intersection of Parrot and Hartzell Roads, Deetz Nature Preserve is a 72-acre low-lying wetland nature preserve. The preserve, now a beautiful, natural area, was donated by Waste Management and has now been replanted with native grasses and many new trees. The area has multiple mowed trails, a parking area, and an outdoor location; a fantastic destination for leisure walks, bird watching, and hiking.
