Elizabeth Hoffman has worked as the Human Resource Director for the City of New Haven since June 2019, and was appointed to Chief of Staff in December 2021.
Prior to coming to the city Elizabeth spent the last ten years working in human resources and financial management. She is currently pursuing her PH.D. in Global Leadership with Indiana Tech, and has previously completed a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership Supervision and an MBA in Human Resource Management. Elizabeth has been certified as a Human Resource Professional through the Society for Human Resource Management since 2015 and in 2021 graduated as part of the 39th class of Leadership Fort Wayne.
Elizabeth is passionate about promoting wellness within our community, including operating the Employee Wellness Program, promoting physical, mental and financial health for all of our employees. She enjoys spending her time helping employees gain the knowledge, tools and skills they need to do their jobs effectively.
When Elizabeth is not at work, she can usually be found riding her bike, reading a book, or hanging out with her family and their dog Reggie.
